News & Events From A Growing University

Work Continues on Dr. William L. Ridgway University Center

Machines roared to life on Monday, June 4, at the University of Evansville as construction of its newest building – the Dr. William L. Ridgway University Center - began during a Construction Launch event. Ridgway was on hand at the launch, as well as many other interested individuals and benefactors.

The new $23.6 million building initiative is expected to be completed by December 2008. The Ridgway University Center will create a much-needed facility which will serve as a gathering place for students, UE faculty, staff and administrators and visitors to the campus.

The 90,000 square ft. building is located in the center of the campus, just off Walnut Street. After its completion, the Ridgway University Center will be the largest building on the campus.
