Pictured with students, Dr. Robert Griffith is an Assistant Professor of English, and Co-director of UE's Writers in the Schools (WITS) program.  Instituted at UE in 2001, this community outreach program has been designed to introduce principles of creative writing into Indiana public schools and is currently supported by grants from the Southwest Indiana Network for Education (S.I.N.E) and the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana.
