Friends For Educational Excellence (FEE) Fund

The scholarship program at the University of Evansville, Friends for Education Excellence (FEE), specifically reaches out to:

  • Individuals
  • Businesses
  • Corporations
  • Corporate foundations

to assist the University in providing scholarships to talented, deserving students. Many of these accomplished students lack the financial resources required to obtain the highest quality educational experience that UE delivers. As an independent university, the University of Evansville depends upon these constituencies to meet our mission as a teaching institution.

'

UE Science students are diligently working on state-of-the art equipment purchased through a grant from the Kresge Foundation.

Scholarship funds also assist the University in serving the larger community by preparing graduates for professional employment regionally, nationally, and globally and contributing to the culture and economy of the region.'

UE fulfills a vital role as a community resource and prepares students to become informed, ethical, and productive citizens. Thousands of UE graduates are employed by business and industry in the Evansville community and surrounding counties, lending their time, talent, and energy to strengthen our regional and state economy.

Financial support for scholarships is vital to the success of higher education at the University of Evansville. Without FEE and a strong, committed base of corporate and foundation support, the University's mission and operating budget would be directly affected and realize a significantly negative impact on its mission. The University is dedicated to the highest level of performance possible in its endeavors, including the challenge of meeting its scholarship funding goals for students through outreach to corporations and foundations for FEE , and to enhancing current and future support for the Fund. In the 30 years since it was established, the annual Friends for Educational Excellence Campaign has raised more than $3 million for this worthy purpose.
