Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer
The Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer is responsible for coordinating UE relationships with corporations and foundations to secure both restricted and unrestricted gifts. Primary tasks include supervision of a part-time proposal writer, identifying and researching prospective donors, building and maintaining relationships, strategizing cultivation, writing proposals and soliciting gifts. This position reports to the Director of Development.
Grants Coordinator (Part-Time Position)
The proposal writer is a part-time position that works from a remote location and is responsible for writing and submitting letters of inquiry, proposals, and reports and follows up correspondence to corporations and foundations. This position is a result of the UEnvision 2010 Capital Campaign. Primary tasks include identifying and researching prospective donors, writing proposals and maintaining report needs for accepted grants. This position reports to the Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer.
Intern (Part-Time Position)
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a new
UE Corporate and Foundation Relations Website.
- Assist with direct mail solicitations to obtain new
and renew existing corporate donors to the University's
FEE campaign.
- Conduct prospect research on foundations and
corporations to assist in locating funding sources
through the use of in-house online databases.
- Assist with proposal creation through proofreading
and assembly.
- Assist the CFRO in communicating with corporate FEE
donors through various stewardship and campus engagement
strategies.
- Create, maintain, and update corporate & foundation
giving list and files.
- Process and maintain confidential University giving
data and information through the use of the University's
Benefactor system.
- Other duties as assigned by the CFRO.
- Assist the CFRO in the development and
implementation of the Office's strategic plan to
cultivate and steward the business community in the
greater Evansville area. (back to top)
